Green Thumb garden series at the Greenwood Lake Public Library presents “Tool Maintenance & Cool Tools” with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County Master. The Library is located at 79 Waterstone Road in Greenwood Lake, New York.

Just as our gardens aren’t maintenance-free, so aren’t our gardening tools. Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County Master Gardeners at this workshop where they will demonstrate how to keep power tools tuned up; oil, filters, and spark plugs changed; and hand-tools rust-free and well-oiled.

Prevent frustrating delays in valuable outdoor gardening time by preparing your tools properly at the end of the fall season. Comes springtime, you’ll be ready to tend to your garden and grow, grow, grow!
