TIVOLI – Stephen Chopek: Rocks the Gazebo

New Jersey native and Memphis resident, Stephen Chopek (http://www.stephenchopek.com/) is currently on a solo acoustic tour in support of his latest album Begin the Glimmer. He's traveled the world as a drummer with some of today's top artists such as Charlie Hunter, John Mayer, and Jesse Malin.

More recently, he's been writing his own music which Skin Back Alley described as "a skillfully crafted tapestry of folk, roots, punk, and pop" (with traces of Billy Bragg, Robert Pollard, and Jonathan Richman). Glide Magazine says, "Chopek showcases his skills as an accomplished songwriter capable of writing catchy chorus and melodies that linger long after listening. He sets it to a left of the dial meets power pop soundtrack."
