TheaterSounds Reader’s Theater Presents Quartet, March 22

TheaterSounds Hudson Valley Playreading Series presents Ronald Harwood’s funny and poignant Quartet on Saturday, March 22. This dramatic reading will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Catskills in Kingston. Show time is 7:30 p.m.; admission is free and all are welcome.

A concert celebrating Verdi’s birthday is about to take place at a home for retired opera singers. Three friends who want to recreate a quartet from Rigoletto are joined by a newly-arrived former star. The three try to convince the diva that the show must go on, but she wants no part in it. Will these four ever sing together again? Find out in this celebration of art and life.

Ryan Hilliard*, David Jones, Jennifer Sternberg*, Jill Tanner* perform, directed by Nicola Sheara. In its 12-year history, TheaterSounds has brought more than150 professional actors to its Kingston venue.
