Think of your own unique way to incorporate apples into a salsa recipe
and be a part of the second annual Huguenot Street Apple Festival Salsa Contest. Create a salsa for sharing. Fairgoers taste and judge the entries ($2 gets you a taste of all the
entries and the honor of casting your vote: you may taste & vote multiple times ). Winners will
be determined by popular vote. Entries should be brought to the church by 10:00 a.m. on the day
of the Apple Festival, October 3rd, and should include one quart of salsa for tasting, along with
the appropriate accompaniment for tasting (pita, tortilla chips, crackers, apple slices, etc.).
