Cole Palen's Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome turns 60 this year. Join us as we celebrate their Diamond Jubilee....Steampunk Style!

The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome was founded in 1958 by Cole Palen with a handful of airplanes and a dream. He built it into a world-renowned destination as America’s first flying museum of antique aircraft. See over 60 vintage aircraft, many antique automobiles and motorcycles, and related memorabilia in a classic small town airport setting.

Aerial Artist Show - Defying Gravity! Guest Aerialist will take to the sky and dazzle us all with incredible aerial acts. Plus you, too, can try your hand at defying gravity with easy aerial poses.

Costume contest, Tea Duelling, music by The Eternal Frontier, vintage aviation air show, open cockpit bi-plane rides*, museum tours, victorian picnicking, special guests, vendors and more.

Admission paid at the gate day of the event - $25 adults, $12 kids.

*Bi-plane rides are $100pp weather permitting

Parts or all of the "Flights of Fancy" event is weather permitting. If we encounter a light rain during the event, there is a possibility the actual "Airshow" will be cancelled or cut short. Other aspects of the event will continue as usual.

If it turns out to be an all-day gullywasher, the entire event will be cancelled. IF a decision is made to cancel this event in its entirety prior to 10am day of show, information will be immediately posted on the Flights of Fancy website as well as on our Facebook event page. ALL DECISIONS TO CANCEL OR PROCEED WITH THE AIRSHOW ARE SOLELY THOSE OF THE PILOTS.

Remember, numerous factors contribute to unsafe conditions for the airshow including rain, wind, lightning, etc.
If the event is cancelled after you are admitted due to bad weather, no refunds will be given. Rain checks may be obtained to return to the Aerodrome at a future date.
