Celebrate the 18th annual Read Across America Day at The Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum with three fun-filled days featuring storytimes read by special guests and local authors.
-March 2nd Diversity Day! 12:00, 2:00, and 4:00. Volunteers from the United Way will read beloved children’s books that celebrate people’s differences and all the great qualities that bring us together.
-March 3rd Susanna Leonard Hill Day! 3:30 Susanna Leonard Hill author of many great children’s books including April Fool, Phyllis! And Can’t Sleep Without Sheep, will read at a special storytime.
-March 4th Ladybug Girl Day! 3:00 and 4:00 Jacky Davis and David Soman, author and illustrator of Ladybug Girl will read and demonstrate how their wonderful illustrations are drawn. Children will also have a chance to get their picture taken with a Ladybug Girl costume character!
