This September, First Friday Poughkeepsie is bringing you back Downtown to ‘Bee’ the Light Around the World, and join us as we partner with Dutchess Tourism, Inc. to bring you the ThinkDIFFERENTLY Dash and Queen City Mile!

The ThinkDIFFERENTLY Dash and Queen City Mile are run/walks for individuals of all abilities, and all are welcome to participate. Starting line at 5:30pm, the race will begin and end outside 22 Market Street and route around Downtown. ThinkDIFFERENTLY Dash participants will loop around once, and the Queen City Mile will consist of two loops.

No First Friday is complete without Food, Music and Art! Join us for entertainment by Illusionist Ryan Dutcher and blues group The Roadhouse Roosters, and your favorite eats and libations from the City of Poughkeepsie and beyond!

All proceeds from First Friday activities, including the dunk tank and Hudson Valley Young Professionals Backyard, this September will benefit The Arc of Dutchess Grace Smith House, Inc. and Poughkeepsie Public Library District ( PPLD ), and The Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse
