Additional Information

Come join us for the FIRST ever Hi-Tor Jail & Bail event! Here is how it works:

1. Fill out an arrest warrant to have someone arrested and pay the $50 fee.
2. We arrest the "jailbird" and read him/her the charges.
3. The jailbirds go to jail and the "snitches" can take pictures.
4. The jailbirds have to bail himself or herself out depending on the bail that was set by the judge.
5. If he or she is unable to be jailed on the night of the event, a $25-$50 donation will allow the warrant against him/her to be vacated!

***Please make the charge/allegation as unrealistic sounding as possible. The last thing we want is for someone to believe they are being arrested for an actual felony. Snitches and jailbirds are free to create their own phony charges as long as they are in good humor and taste. This Jail & Bail is meant to be in good fun, so please keep with the spirit of the event and keep the charges in good humor and respectful of the jailbird. Examples of phony charges:

•Criminal Use of a cell phone by taking way too many gym selfies!
•Operating a keyboard without spellchecking before they post! 
•Obstructing the use of color by always wearing black clothing! 
•Failure to Age like the rest of us! 
•Failure to Appear at the last family function with the in-laws! 
•Impersonating a professional race car driver!
•Trafficking large amounts of caffeine!
•Impersonating a golfer!
•Criminal use of the word "like"!

Once the jailbird is arrested, the Hi-Tor judge will review the warrant and set bail based upon the charges that the snitch alleges. Next, the jailbird will be placed in a "jail cell" and will call friends and family members asking for donations and must "raise bail" in order to be released. Mug shots will be provided to the jailbird. Jailbirds should plan to be in Jail for about an hour.... Lite snacks and beverages will be provided for all attending. Now let's have some fun and raise lots of money for the animals.
