The MARC Walk for Recovery, held Saturday, Oct. 25 2014 at Baird Park, Shelter 2, raises awareness and funds to support non-profit Mid-Hudson Addiction Recovery Centers (MARC). The Walk is 5K, with an easier and more challenging course available to suit any walker. Register in advance, marcwalk4recovery@gmail.com, or on-site. Dogs on leashes are welcome, as are strollers, teams and groups. MARC promotes recovery by providing structured programs and residential services to individuals suffering from alcohol and other drug addictions as they move through the recovery process.
