Additional Information

The program begins with “Loves’ Fire” directed by Cabot Parsons. The greatest love poetry in the English language provides the springboard for four works re-imagined by the best playwrights in America: Eric Bogosian, Tony Kushner, Marsha Norman and Ntozake Shange. Shakespeare’s sonnets of romantic and sexual love are timeless, and are not bound to any particular setting or to either sex. These four short acts, each paired with the sonnet that inspired it and pulled into one play, are startling not only in the variety of their mood, content and setting, but also in their unusual interpretation.

Enjoying its first time on stage, “Social Prescriptions” written by Molly Pease and directed by David H. Cohen, depicts a young woman’s memoir about her daily passage through the world of depression; abetted and impeded by her friends and family.

The cast of “Love and Other Drugs” includes Joseph Polichetti, Ally Andryshak, Jordan Scarzfava, Sarah Hutchinson,
Joseph Colon, Matthew Colben, Victoria Cottone, Alan Moss, Jazmin Jackson and Anwar George.

Ticket prices are $14, general admission; $10, senior citizens, faculty and alumni; $4, students; and free for active duty
military personnel. Student tickets are only available at the box office. All other tickets may be purchased online at www.sunyorange.edu (click the events link on the home page and follow to online ticketing).  For Group prices (10 or more) call (845) 341-4790.  There is a $2.50 surcharge for each ticket purchased online.
