June 16th Blood Drive at Guardian Self Storage in Wappingers Falls

With the help of Guardian Self Storage, you can give the gift of life. Guardian is sponsoring a blood drive on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 11am until 5pm to help those in need in our communities. The New York Blood Center will be on location at Guardian Self Storage, 1634 Route 9 in Wappingers Falls. Donors must be ages 17 through 75, or 16 years old with a parental permission form, which can be found on the following website: www.nybloodcenter.org.

Donors must have ID, weigh at least 110 lbs., be in good health, and be sure to eat and drink before donating.

As a thank you, donors will receive a goodie bag filled with donations from local businesses, including All Sport Health and Fitness, Bagel World, Dairy Queen, Dunkin’ Donuts, Foam and Wash Car Wash, Outback Steakhouse, and Oil Change Plus.

Guardian Self Storage has been giving back to the community for over 31 years. Guardian has held an annual coat drive for those in need in the Hudson Valley for the past 19 years. In 2013, Guardian collected a record 7,000 coats, along with many scarves, hats, snow pants and boots. Guardian also held a summer food drive last year.
