Featured Artist: Jack Rusinek
If you have seen any number of Broadway shows such as Book of Mormon or Mary Poppins, you already have seen some of the work by Jack Rusinek. He has been sculpting professionally for the past 15 years in the Hudson Valley for the entertainment industry, and he enjoys creating pieces for himself whenever time allows. Since attending the H.S. of Art & Design and The School of Visual Arts, Rusinek has kept busy using a variety of mediums. He notes, "Unlike most artists who stick to one medium and try to master it throughout their lives, I'm always eager to try something new. I hope you enjoy some of my pieces done in paints, woods, clay, plastic, foam, fiberglass, etc. It is more important for me to try everything that life has to offer instead of trying to hone in on the one thing that may or may not work for me in the end.”
