People living in the city usually aren't going to experience the array of wildlife versus someone living upstate. That's why people got freaked out at something as simple as a crazed squirrel started attacking people in Prospect Park, Brooklyn just this summer.

Well, looks like Prospect Park is once again at the center of an animal encounter, only this time it's an escaped bull. ABC News says the animal was seen running near 17th street before heading to the park. Some media outlets had first identified the escaped animal as a cow.

An NYPD Emergency Service Unit was eventually able to subdue the bull that had escaped a local slaughterhouse on Fourth Avenue and 16th St. in Sunset Park. ABC says a child in a stroller was knocked over by the animal during it's mini-flight to freedom. The child was taken to a nearby hospital and was treated for a busted lip and black eye, according to the NY Daily News.

The bull was taken to the Skylands Animal Sanctuary and Rescue in Wantage, New Jersey, according to ABC.
