Police say a Dutchess County woman who failed to stop at a stop sign was later given a felony DWI.

On Wednesday, State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Michelle K. Warner, 29, of Clinton Corners, for driving while intoxicated, a class E felony.

According to police, Warner was pulled over on Main Street in Pleasant Valley after she failed to stop at a stop signed. After allegedly failing standardized field sobriety tests, Warner was placed under arrest for DWI.

Warner was given a felony DWI after a background check revealed a previous DWI related conviction in 2009.

She supplied a breath sample that yielded a blood alcohol content of .08%, officials say.

Warner was issued traffic tickets directing her to appear before the Town of Pleasant Valley Justice Court on June 28.
