A Dutchess County man is accused of injuring a person he knew and threatening the individual with metal knuckles.

On Saturday, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested 22-year-old Terrence J. Brennan of Beacon for second-degree menacing, third-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, all misdemeanors.

An investigation revealed that on Friday, Brennan assaulted an acquaintance, causing minor injuries. During the altercation, Brennan threatened the victim with metal knuckles, police say.

Brennan was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Nelsonville Court on Jan 25.
