Dutchess County Man Shot in Orange County

A Dutchess County Man was shot Tuesday afternoon in Orange County.

Tuesday around 2:15 p.m., City of Newburgh Police responded to South Street and Montgomery Street following a call about a man who was shot. 28-year-old Joel Ladson, of Beacon was soon found with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say they determined that the shooting happened near Grand Street and Catherine Street. The victim ran from the scene after being shot to the area of where he was located by authorities.

Ladson was taken to St. Lukes Hospital where he is being treated for his injures that aren’t considered life threatening.
