Drunk Man Kicks Chihuahua Causing Injury, Police Say

An Ulster County man was arrested following an investigation into a animal cruelty complaint.  

Only in Saugerties, NY will you find a drunk guy kicking small dogs for no reason.

According to a press release, the Saugerties Police Department were investigating a animal cruelty complaint, and it resulted in the arrest of Brant R. Bailey, 50, of Saugerties.

At the time of the incident, Bailey was allegedly in an intoxicated condition. He allegedly kicked another person's chihuahua, causing injury and discomfort to the canine.

Bailey was arrested and charged by Saugerties Police. He was charged under the New York State Agricultural Law Section 353 with Overdriving, Torturing, and Injuring Animals, Failure to Provide Proper Sustenance

Bailey was processed and released with an appearance ticket. He is due back in court at a later date.
