This weekend we're looking at three different movie styles; crime drama, thriller and my favorite - docudrama...say that with me...docudrama. It's nice isn't it?

Let's start with the bottom of the barrel, for me at least, the thriller, 'No Good Deed' is really based upon the thing parents all tell (or should tell) their kids, don't let strangers in the house. When woman lets a man into her home to use her phone (who doesn't have a cell phone that's red flag number one) she learned that he plans to use more than her phone. This man takes over her home and terrorizes her family. No good deed goes unpunished...get it? 'No Good Deed' yeah...no? Whatever. Though not my favorite, I think this will do well this weekend.

'Dolphin Tale 2' is the docudrama, can't get over that word, just love it. It's the sequel to 2011s 'Dolphin Tale' which follows a dolphin, Winter, who lost her tale and needed a prosthetic tale to live. This time around her poolmate has passed and the aquarium is required by law to find a replacement else they will loose Winter to another aquarium. Critics and audiences alike seem to be excited for this release. Critics are saying that this second installment is more educational than the first and is still great for everyone in the family.

Lastly, my pick for this weekend, a Tom Hardy movie, 'The Drop.' If you're a fan of crime dramas based around Brooklyn gangsters, this is the one for you. Hardy plays a bartender, cousin to a big shot (James Gandolfini, naturally its a gangster movie) who is involved with money drops for gangsters in local bars. Everything is going smoothly until a robbery goes wrong and an investigation begins to dig deep into the area's history. This movie gets a 77% on Rotten Tomatoes and is really driven by Tom Hardy, which is nice because I'm a big fan.

Check out all the trailers below. And as always, until next week, we'll MEAT at the movies!
