It's the end of an era. The Dragon's Den has announced they are leaving the Poughkeepsie Plaza.

In April the Dragon’s Den in the Poughkeepsie Plaza Mall was seized by the government for unpaid taxes. Owner David Steltenkamp told customers through social media that he was working with the government to repay the taxes and get the store back up and running.

A few weeks later, the doors of the Dragon's Den did open again, but now they will be closed for good as the store relocates to a new spot in Wappingers Falls.

According to a posting on their Facebook page, the Dragon's Den is moving to the Cambridge Commons on Route 376. The move is happening now and a grand opening celebration at the new location is expected to happen some time next week.

The new location is expected to host card tournaments and events just like the current store does.
