Police: Dover Plains Woman Uses A Steak Knife The Wrong Way And Ends Up In Jail

Dover Plains, NY - Amanda L. Morse, 34, was arrested and charged with felony assault after allegedly stabbing her husband in the leg with a steak knife during a dispute on Tuesday morning.

Dutchess County Sheriff's responded to a report that there was a suicidal woman, who had possibly stabbed her husband. When Deputies arrived they found the woman uninjured and her husband was gone.

They located her husband in Amenia, and he was treated for his stab wound, according to deputies.

Morse was arraigned in Dover Plains Court and sent Dutchess County Jail on $25,000 Bail, $50,000 bond.
