DJs Sample OCC Cafe, Mole Mole Wing Wars Fare

Are you ready to get your hands dirty at Wing Wars? The event takes takes over the Mid-Hudson Civic Center on Saturday, Jan. 30 from 5PM to 9PM and will features wings from your favorite Hudson Valley restaurants, including The Derby, Mahoney’s, Orange County Choppers Cafe, Mole Mole and many more.

DJs from Townsquare Media of the Hudson Valley are sampling wings in advance of Wing Wars for a special DJ's Choice Award. Two restaurants are coming in each weekday in the lead-up to the event. DJs from stations including WPDH, WRRV, The Wolf and Mix 97.7 are judging the wings on taste, tenderness and appearance

On Friday, Orange County Choppers Cafe brought in three wing varieties and Mole Mole brought in burritos featuring two different wing sauces. (Yes, we said burritos. Not to worry, though. They will be bringing wings to Wing Wars.)

WPDH's Meat Sandwich, WRRV's Deuce, The Wolf's CJ and Mix 97.7's Mark Bolger tried out the samples. You'll have to wait until Wing Wars for the DJ's Choice Award winner, but the verdict was in on Orange County Choppers Cafe's and Mole Mole's offerings: pretty damn delicious.
