Watch Dizzy Reed Perform ‘Civil War’ With Guns N’ Roses Tribute Band Appetite for Destruction

While Guns N' Roses fans wait for official word on who's in and who's out of the lineup for the group's upcoming live dates, here's some fan-shot footage of longtime keyboardist Dizzy Reed taking the stage with a GNR tribute band.

The New York-based Appetite for Destruction performed in support of Reed's side group, Hookers & Blow, at Revolution in Amityville, N.Y., on Jan. 8, and Reed joined the group onstage for what must have been a slightly surreal jam session — including a performance of "Civil War," which you can check out above.

"We want to thank everyone for making last night's show at Revolution so amazing," the members of Appetite for Destruction wrote after the gig. "Getting the opportunity to play with Dizzy Reed was a highlight of our band's career. Thank you Dizzy for taking the time out to jam with us."

As previously reported, an overhauled Guns N' Roses lineup will perform at this year's Coachella Festival, featuring former members Slash and Duff McKagan alongside frontman Axl Rose. While that's definitely great news for fans who've hoped to see a reunion of the band's classic lineup, a number of questions remain — including just who, exactly, will join the trio onstage.

Reed, the longest-tenured member of the band aside from Rose, seems like a safe bet to make the shows, and rumors have placed him in the lineup along with guitarist Richard Fortus, drummer Frank Ferrer and utility player Chris Pitman. We're bound to hear official word soon; in the meantime, we'll think of this performance as an extra rehearsal for one of 2016's most heavily anticipated live outings.
