Did Mike Ditka Fart on Live TV During NFL’s Monday Night Countdown? [VIDEO]

While Monday night's New York Giants loss is probably a bit of a sore topic for some, another controversy seemed to be brewing during ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown. Did Mike Ditka just fart on live national television? This is what everyone seems to think.

The 76 year-old Ditka was discussing the Giants vs Eagles game with fellow analysts Cris Carter, and host Chris Berman, when a loud, crude sound can clearly be heard coming from his direction. Carter stopped momentarily and gave Ditka the look, seemingly accusing the former player and coach of doing the deed.

Ditka denies breaking wind. He told the Chicago Sun-Times

It wasn't me. Believe me, I'm to the point in my life where it doesn't matter. One day I'll be happy to leave a fart. Right now, it wasn't me. I don't care what they think.

So if it wasn't him, then who was it? Could it have been his chair? Berman? Carter? One of the TV crew members? Who knows?
