The annual Detective John M. Falcone/Firefighter Timothy Gunther Memorial Ride will be taking place this Sunday, Sept. 25 at the Nuddy Bar and Grill and The Chance in Poughkeepsie.

The Memorial Ride honors fallen City of Poughkeepsie police officer John Falcone who was killed in the line of duty in the city back in 2011. It also honors fallen firefighter Timothy Gunther who died after battling a fatal fire in 2015. Registration on Sunday is from 9-11am, kickstands up at 11:30am. Motorcycle riders are $25, $10 passengers, non-riders are $15. A memorial service will follow registration. There will be a bbq and pig roast with door prixes and a 50/50 raffle, along with live music.
