Def Leppard's Joe Elliot and Phil Collen appear on History Channel's 'Pawn Stars'.

We all know how Pawn Stars works. It starts with a person bringing an item into the shop, then the boys usually need to call in an expert to confirm that the item is in fact "authentic".

Well, on this particular episode of Pawn Stars, a woman named Jill brings in a guitar that she claims is a hand-painted Japanese design PC1 guitar, which happened to be painted by Phil Collen of Def Leppard.

Rick Harrison,  co-owner of the ' World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop' in Las Vegas, NV called in his guitar expert to verify the authenticity of the guitar. Not only did his guitar expert show up, but Joe Elliot and Phil Collen of Def Leppard decided to join the party as well, according to Def Leppard UK.

Joe and Phil arrived at the shop towards the end of the show and helped verify that the guitar was in fact one of Phil's originals. It turned out that the guitar was Number 3 of the original batch.
