The New Paltz Fire Department's dash cam caught a bus engulfed in flames on the NY State Thruway on Wednesday.

According to the Times Herald record, the Trailways bus was carrying mostly SUNY New Paltz students when a tire blew out just before the exit on the Nourthbound side of the Thruway. The driver safely pulled over and got the passengers safely out of the bus before it burst into flames.

There were no injuries reported and the passengers were safely transported to another bus.

The incredible dash-cam footage was uploaded by the first arriving Chief Officer to the New Paltz Fire Department's Youtube channel. It shows the bus completely engulfed in flames with dark smoke billowing from the vehicle. Chatter can be heard between firefighters discussing the 52 passengers that were safely removed from the bus.

As a fire truck arrives on scene the bus is blocked from views but emergency personnel can be seen working to put out the flames.
