Credit Union Accepting Your Spare Change For a Great Cause

If you have spare change lying around you're going to want to bring it to a local credit union this month.

TEG Federal Credit Union has teamed up with WPDH to help kids suffering from childhood cancer. Now through the middle of August you can bring your spare change to any of the credit union's branches and use their coin counting machine to make a donation to the cause.

The Boris and Robyn Show is battling it out to see who can raise more money this year, so when you get your receipt from the machine just write "Team Boris" or "Team Robyn" on it and hand it to the teller. They'll deposit it into the proper account.

On Friday The Boris & Robyn Show held a live broadcast at the TEG branch on Commerce Street in Poughkeepsie. Despite the downpours, listeners came out with their containers filled with change and helped Team Boris raise $230.52, while Robyn brought in $122.88.

On Friday, July 14 the show will be broadcasting from the TEG Federal Credit Union on Route 9 in Fishkill. If you have any change and are going to be in the area, be sure to stop by and help out.
