The University of Albany sophomore who died of last November from excessive alcohol consumption drank a 60-ounce bottle of vodka, according to court reports. College officials said the drinking binge was part of a hazing stunt coordinated by an unsanctioned fraternity.

19-year old Trevor Duffy died after a night of heavy drinking at a party thrown by Zeta Beta Tau members at an off-campus home, according to the Times Union of Albany. Two students were expelled from the school after an investigation into Duffy's death. Twenty four others were sanctioned by the university after its investigation determined members of the underground frat were guilty of drug, alcohol and student group violations, as well as threatening and abusive behavior, endangerment, hazing and disruptive conduct, according to the Times Union of Albany.

The Univ of Albany's investigation concluded the teenager's death was the result of hazing. No students have been arrested, though Albany police say their investigation is ongoing.
