Tropical Storm Bill moved ashore along the Texas coast, bringing torrential rain to an area that has already seen record breaking flooding this year. Up to 10 inches of rain could hit parts of Texas and Oklahoma, as the storm continues to mive inland. Buy could it effect us here in the Hudson Valley?

While the storm seems far away, forecasts call for the remnants to continue to move north and east, eventually reaching the Ohio Valley, and then the Hudson Valley. The storm will arive by Saturday night. The Hudson Valley could see 1 to 2 inches of rain. There is a chance that the bulk of the rain could stay south, but as of now the weather models call for heavy rain to effect the area Saturday night, and into Sunday for Father's Day.
