In the City eNewsletter, Mayor Rollison advises the City of Poughkeepsie water supply will be affected this week as the Fire Department will be testing and servicing the City fire hydrant system. Residents who use the City water supply should be aware as the hydrant system is linked directly to the drinking water.

The water is safe during the tests but there may be some discoloration. Should your water be affected, let run until clear. Residents are recommended to not do laundry for twenty four-fourty eight hours after testing in your area.
