Church Gives Pizza Driver $1,000 Tip From Collection Plate
A church congregation from Ohio ordered a pizza from Domino's, and gave the delivery person the tip of a lifetime.
When the Domino's employee arrived at the church with the $5.99 pizza, Rev. Steve Markle brought her up on stage. He asked her whats the biggest tip she's recieved. She said about $10.
Rev. Markle then told the girl that the church had been teaching about generosity, and the congregation had taken up a collection for the driver. It was more than $1,000. The driver broke into to tears, as reported by CBS 6.
The church draws about 500-600 people each week, and they were wrapping up a sermon series called "I was broke. Now I'm not."
