Chris Cornell has enjoyed one of the most successful careers in rock between Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Audioslave and his solo ventures. His latest solo record, Higher Truth, hit No. 19 on the Billboard 200 and he has just announced a second North American leg of the world tour as he continues to promote the record.

The tour will kick off on June 16 in Clearwater, Fla., work its way up the East Coast before extending to the Midwest and eventually the Northwest before coming to a close in Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 27. The singer/songwriter has been delivering a mixed bag of songs, with cuts spanning his entire recording career in addition to tracks off the latest album and the occasional cover added in as well.

Tickets for most dates on the trek will go on sale Friday, March 11 at 10AM ET, with exceptions listed below.

Never one to sit still, Cornell stated in December of 2015 that he'd be returning to the studio to work on the next Soundgarden album following the conclusion of his solo tour. The singer talked about balancing the two bands and said, “It’s great to be able to do the Soundgarden stuff and my solo career simultaneously. That’s what makes me lucky as a performer. As soon as this album cycle is over I’m working on Soundgarden songs for an album — I get to do a lot of different things and it feels like I get to have my cake and eat it too.” Progress has already been made on the forthcoming Soundgarden record as the band were in the studio in September of last year.
