Children Injured After Bounce Houses Goes Airborne [VIDEO]

Florida - A pair of bounce houses that were carrying children were torn from the ground and sent airborne, before a horrified crowd. 

A waterspout rushed ashore and uprooted the bounce houses and sent them flying through the air, across four lanes of traffic, landing in a parking lot, as reported by NY Daily News.

All three children were ejected onto the sand shortly after the Bounces houses left the ground. Police Detective DeAnna Greenlaw said:

All three were alert and conscious when transported to a local hospital. his was an act of Mother Nature that could not have been prevented nor would it have been possible for us to have reacted quicker today.

Two of the children have been released from the hospital, after bring treated for minor fractures, while the third is being held overnight for observation.

Waterspouts, which resemble funnel-shaped clouds, can be just as dangerous as tornadoes and lead to tornado warnings if they move ashore.

One of the beachgoers captured the incident with their cell phone.
