We always wonder what store or restaurant chains you'd like to see open in the Hudson Valley?

You hear a lot of suggestions. Some of those might say; Trader Joe's, Wegman's, or Waffle House, or maybe In-and-Out Burger.

But there is one other name you hear pop up from time to time: Chick-fil-A.

We don't have too many in the region to say the least. According to the Chick-fil-A location finder, the closest restaurants are two near Danbury, Connecticut, two near Paramus, New Jersey, plus a couple of newer locations in Manhattan.

So is Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, or Kingston getting a Chick-fil-A anytime soon? Well, no. But according to the Times Union, a developer plans to bring one to the town of Halfmoon.

The Atlanta, GA based fast food chain is reportedly part of a new retail complex on Route 146 north of the Capitol Region. They're hoping to have construction up and running by next spring.

If you're craving Chick-Fil-A that much, then it could be worth a visit for you and the family if you're heading to Saratoga, or Lake George.
