Chevy Chase Disses Poughkeepsie in Bizarre Interview

A video has surfaced of a bizarre interview with comedian Chevy Chase, who apparently has a big problem with Poughkeepsie.

The undated video was taken in Woodstock as Chase was receiving an honor from Catskill Mountainkeeper for his environmental work. A reporter from The Poughkeepsie Journal asked Chevy for advice on what we could do to help the environment. Instead of answering the question, the original SNL cast member launched into a rant about why Poughkeepsie needs to change it's name. After being questioned as to what Poughkeepsie should change it's name to, Chevy agreed with a person off-camera who suggested "Brooklyn."

In the end, Chevy said it was all in jest, and that he really does love Poughkeepsie...Although he awkwardly struggled to explain why. Hey Chevy, that's alright. Poughkeepsie still loves you too, even though we're still not sure why either.
