Earth Day is coming up this Sunday, April 22. Have you thought about what you'll be doing to honor the earth? Maybe you are making sure you recycle. Maybe you're helping to keep your street clean of litter. Not sure what you should do? You can celebrate Earth Day 2018 all weekend in the City of Poughkeepsie.

The weekend celebration kicks off on Saturday, April 21 with a special Earth Day and World Fish Migration Day Community Clean Up at 10 am and a Fish Migration Celebration at Upper Landing Park at 12:15 pm. Then on Sunday, April 22nd, from 10 am to noon, stop by Mural Square at 253 Main Street and learn about local environmental initiatives and ways to get involved so you can celebrate the earth every day, not just on Earth day. There will be live music, poetry, dancing, and other fun activities.
