It is time to celebrate our planet, and all living things on it.  Time to learn what we can do to make it clean, healthy, and the best planet it can be for future generations.  Earth day is actually on April 22, but you can celebrate a little earlier in New Paltz.  The Annual Earth Day Fair is this Saturday, April 16, from 10am – 4pm at the Reformed Church of New Paltz, 92 Huguenot St, New Paltz.

The Earth Day Fair is a free, fun-filled, and educational celebration with a focus on climate concerns and green living.  You will be able to talk with local environmentally friendly individuals and groups who share sustainable ways of caring for our Earth.  There will also be children’s activities, healthy food, live music and entertainment in a family oriented, old fashioned picnic atmosphere.

What are you doing to celebrate Earth Day?  Taking part in a clean up?  Planting trees?  Why not do that and come to the Earth Day Fair in New Paltz this Saturday?  For more information call Jim O’Dowd at 845-255-4170.
