The 39th annual 'It's Great to Live in Harrison' event takes place this Columbus Day Weekend in West Harrison, NY.

A big weekend of fun kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 8 with an open house at the Harrison Police Headquarters from 10am-2pm where you can view all of Harrison's Emergency Apparatus followed by a concert at the West Harrison Firehouse from Frank Trapani at 7pm and fireworks.

Sunday, Oct. 9 is Harrison Recreation and Hot Rod Heaven car show at the West Harrison Village Green on Lake St. across from the firehouse from 10am-4pm. $20 entry fee for the car show with trophies, vendors, 50/50 raffle, and door prizes. Bikes are also welcome at the event. Entertainment provided by "Elvis" Patrick Perone, Tracy Delucia, and Johnny B. Monday is the Columbus Day parade at 10am. Fun for all ages this weekend.
