An Oklahoma bus driver has been hailed a hero, using the Heimlich maneuver to help save a young student's life.

According to abcnews.com, Manaford Public Schools bus driver Ginger Maxville performed the life saving maneuver on a 5 yr old that was choking on a coin that had become lodged in his throat. Maxville noticed the young boy standing up and making noises and initially though the boy was just not following the instructions to sit down. The boy's sister said "I think he swallowed a coin."  Maxville immediately parked the bus, and can be seen in surveillance video successfully performing the Heimlich maneuver, making sure the child was ok, and then getting right back in the driver's seat. The coin was dislodged after a minute or two. "I heard it hit the floor and said we got it!" she said.

Ginger Maxville is a total hero in my book! Job well done. You can check out surveillance video from the incident below.
