A Pennsylvania woman has been convicted  of involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of her niece hours after her wedding.

Christina George, 31, of Patterson, PA cried as she was cuffed after a judge revoked her bail, and she was led from the courtroom to jail.

The woman was convicted by a jury in the April 24  death of 21-year-old Katelyn Francis of Fairmont, West Virginia. The jury deliberated for 6 hours.

According to police reports, George and new husband were leaving a bar hours after their wedding, when there was argument over her should drive home, as reported by The Associated Press.

George testified that the gun went off in her hand, as she was trying to move the gun from the glove box to the center console.

The District Attorney stated that the gun was already in the console, and she was trying to remove it from there.

A sentencing date has not yet been made.
