Breaking: Reports of Overturned School Bus Near Poughkeepsie

There are reports of an overturned school bus with possible people still inside.

According to WPDH traffic reporter Nancy Reamy there are reports of an overturned bus on Spackenkill Road near Cedar Valley road in the Spackenkill school district.

Police have told us that there is one victim who suffered serious injuries, others are being transported to the hospital with minor injuries. Parents of the students are being notified. Police have not released a bus number or information on its destination. The bus was transporting 40 students at the time of the accident. Spackenkill Road remains closed this morning at Boardman Road going eastbound. Cedar Valley Road is also closed.

Transcare requested to scene , Lagrange ems requested to standby at Arlington station 3 headquarters and additional Arlington Rig to go on standby in quarters.
