Mitch from Half Time stopped by this week to give us a history lesson on the original Belgian White Ale, Hoegaarden.  Brewed originally in 1445, Hoegaarden is a witbier that is spiced with coriander and orange peel. It has a frothy head and cloudy appearance because it is unfiltered, with the original yeast used in the brewing process remaining in the final product.
