It’s been shorts weather, with warm temps, but for Friday cold weather moves into the Hudson Valley.  A cold front moved through the region Thursday night, which ended the rain we saw.  Now a cooler and more seasonable air mass builds in.  It will be chilly this weekend with some showers Friday night into Saturday.  We’ll get into the mid 40’s Friday night and only be in the 50’s for Saturday and Sunday.

Here’s the latest forecast for the Hudson Valley from the National Weather Service:

Friday:  Clouds give way to clear skies, high near 60/ Northwest wind 11 to 15mph.

Friday night:  A chance of showers overnight, clouds will be on the increase.  Low around 43.  Winds calming down.

Saturday:  Mostly cloudy, high near 53.  A chance of showers.

Saturday Night:  Partly cloudy, with a low around 39. Light west wind.

Sunday:  Mostly sunny, with a high near 58.

Sunday Night:  Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44.
