Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler has offered $1,000 towards a fund, that has been set up by the SPCA, that leads to the arrest of the suspect wanted in the killing of 25 cats in Yonkers, NY.
It is so tragic that we have human beings among us that are capable of committing such a heinous and heartless crime. Surely there is someone out there that knows who has done this. Please do the right thing and come forward to get this coward off the streets.
This was one of the worst cases of animal cruelty Westchester County has ever seen. Twenty five cats were found dead on April 24th, all of which were stuffed in bags that were hanging from a tree. It was determined by veterinarians that all the cats were killed by blunt trauma to the head. The sad discovery was made be the Yonkers Department of Public Works.
Shannon Laukhuf, the executive director for the SPCA, announced Butler's contributions, which brings the reward total up to $25,000. You can contact the SPAC HERE if you have any further information.
