Bill Murray Crashes a Bachelor Party
There's a legend surrounding Bill Murray. Here's how it goes: A person is walking along the street when they hear someone running behind them. Before they can turn around to react they're tackled to the ground. As they get up they see that it's Bill Murray. He simply says "No one will ever believe you" then walks away laughing.
This story has been told numerous times by people who swear it's true with different details (He knocks groceries out of someone's hands, he squirts them with water guns, etc...). He's also been known to crash kickball games, join spontaneous karaoke parties, and even take over bars. Usually, there's not much proof, and as Bill predicts, no one usually believes the storyteller. That is, until this weekend when Bill Murray crashed a bachelor party.
This video from Deadspin finally gives us some evidence that Bill Murray is pretty much as awesome as we've always believed. Here's what the person taking the video has to say:
Over Memorial Day weekend, 20 of my buddies from Boston College got together in Charleston for our friend EJ's bachelor party. At one point during dinner at a steakhouse, one guy goes to the bathroom downstairs and sees Bill Murray sitting with some people with a fishing vest on. We talked to the waiter to see if we could send him some drinks, to which Bill declined. One of my buddies then went down and asked if he'd come up and say a few words for EJ and got a "No thanks." My buddy comes back up dejected and tells us it's not going to happen. Two minutes later, Bill f*cking Murray walks into the room and gives this speech.
