Benefit for Local Musician Steve Dee

One thing I can say about the music community in the Hudson Valley is that they sure come together for each other.  This time around it is a benefit concert for one of the most loved drummers in the Valley.  The concert will be on Sunday, April 17 at The Eagle's Nest Two at Dinsmore, 5371 Route 9 in Staatsberg starting at noon.

I don't know too many local musicians that have not played with Steve Dee at one time or another.  I got to meet Steve at least twenty years ago when my boyfriend Bobby played in a band with him.  Steve is not only a great drummer, he is a show man.  I remember the first time I saw him play.  I was amazed.  He was jumping on tables, drumming every surface, and doing it well.  I don't even like drum solos, but Steve can play his ass off, and he made a boring drum solo into an incredible one.

Now Steve has fallen upon some hard times.  He hurt his back, he can't work, and he needs our help.  There will be several bands, lots of fun, and all for a great cause and a great guy.  For more information, https://www.facebook.com/events/951271568320627/
