There will be a benefit for local musician Joe Beesmer this Sunday, May 29, at Keegan Ales, 20 St. James Street in Kingston. Joe is suffering from Spinal Stenosis in the lumbar and cervical regions of his spine. He has no medical insurance and cannot work because of the pain and nerve blockage in his extremities.

This Sunday, some of the best musicians and bands in the community will be coming together to help out Joe, considered a pillar of the local music scene.  Musicians include The Salted Brothers, The D2 Band, Pete Santora, Joe Veillette with Jimmy Eppard, Mr. Kick, The Pontiacs, Dylan Doyle, and many more. The show starts at 1pm and will go late into the night. The next day is a holiday, so everyone can sleep in.

Come on out to Keegan Ales Sunday and support a friend, neighbor, and great musician. It will be lots of fun for a great cause. For more information, visit the Facebook event page
