There is an art form to pouring the perfect pint of Guinness. WPDH goes behind the bar in Ireland to learn from the masters and try it for themselves.

There are 6 steps to pouring the perfect pint:

  1. Inspect the glass to make sure it's clean and free of smudges.
  2. Hold the glass at a perfect 45 degree angle under the tap, not letting the nozzle touch the glass.
  3. Pull the faucet down and slowly fill the glass to the top of the Harp insignia.
  4. Wait for the nitrogen gas to disperse through the beer and settle at the top
  5. Once the beer has settled, top it off slowly creating a dome effect of extra foam over the top of the glass.
  6. Serve to the customer with the label facing forward.
