Beer of the week: La Fin Du Monde

For the week of January 6th, 2014, my "Beer of the Week" is La Fin Du Monde from Unibroue.

Founded in the early '90s, Unibroue is one of the forefathers of the craft beer movement in Canada.  These guys were brewing crazy, complex Belgian styled ales way back before most people were even thinking about craft beer.

La Fin du Monde is an ale in the style of a Belgian Tripel at around 9% abv.  Watch the video below to learn more about La Fin Du Monde from the brewery, and pick up your growler this week at Half Time.  Cheers!
