To help promote their new collection, ‘On Air — Live at the BBC Volume 2,’ the Beatles have released a video for Buddy Holly's 'Words of Love.'

The clip combines period-specific archival footage of the group displaying their famous charm, shots of crowds experiencing Beatlemania and an animated bit inspired by their drive from Liverpool to London in the middle of a snowstorm to audition for Decca Records.

This take on 'Words of Love,' which appears on the new album, was recorded on July 16, 1963 at the BBC's Paris Theatre in London. It was broadcast a month later on the show 'Pop Goes the Beatles,' more than a year before they released a version of the song on 1964's 'Beatles for Sale.' It is the first official Beatles video since 'Real Love' from 1996's 'Anthology 2.'

‘On Air — Live at the BBC Volume 2' is the follow-up to 1994's 'Live at the BBC.' It contains 37 previously unreleased recording the Beatles made exclusively for British radio from 1963-4.
